Jeff Harris Plays 20 Questions

Simply stated, Jeff Harris is Missouri's next Attorney General. As noted here back in May, he is an extremely strong candidate who is likely to benefit from the inability of the Republicans to get along with each other.

At a fundraiser on Monday night, Jeff agreed to offer a rare opportunity to this blog and the members of the CCP. He has agreed to participate in a "blog interview", tackling questions posed by members of the CCP and commenters on this blog.

Post your questions here in the comments section, and I'll assemble them and get them to Jeff. Of course, I reserve the right to be arbitrary and capricious in choosing the questions to submit, but I encourage you to get in touch with your inner Barbara Walters.

As an aside, this is exactly the sort of thing that makes me excited to support Jeff Harris. He's not hiding behind some slick media machine, answering only the questions he chooses. Harris is unafraid to take on whatever issues and challenges are out there - exactly the attitude and personality that will make a great Attorney General.

I would like to hear about his position on those nasty recorded messages we get buried with every election cycle.

I would like to know his position on third party mailers. Especially the attack mailers sent out during the Senate 10th race on behalf of Jason Klumb and KC council race on behalf of Beth Gottstein.

I'm in Boone County, a very active Democrat and will be thrilled to tell the rest of the state what an excellent AG Jeff Harris will make. You guys are going to like him!
Mr. Harris, I'd like to know your view on hate crimes, and what you'd do as state AG to help get a hate crimes law put into effect in the state of Missouri.
